In the Japanese SEGA account on Twitter, an urgent notice was published that on June 3, 2022, an important announcement awaits us all.
The message indicated links to YouTube channels and the image of a cake made in the form of a controller for Sega Mega Drive (Genesis). Two names are mentioned in the text: Hiroyuki Miyazaki and Yosk Penari, which once again hints at the retro orientation of the announcement. Miyazaki-san and Otunari-san previously worked on retro console Sega Genesis Mini and the Sega Ages series for Nintendo Switch.
As part of the annual report, SEGA announced the intention to release more remakes, remasters and spin-offs of its games. Probably on June 3, we are waiting for just such an announcement.
