Gamescom Opening Night Live 2021 starts today Time LiveStream and Games

With yesterday’s Xbox event from Microsoft, there was already a first stream for Gamescom 2021, but the digital trade fair is officially opened today. Geoff Keighley presents the large opening show Opening Night Live, which no gamer should miss.

• Appointment: 25 . August 2021
• Time: 20 pm German time (from 19:30 there is a pre-show)
• Duration : until 10 pm (two hours)

Altogether, according to Geoff Keighley circa 40 games are shown in the two and a half hours – eight during the pre-show and over 30 games on the main event.

While we probably see small titles and Indies in half an hour before the ONL (hosted by Kyle Bosman), we expect the most expected games of Gamescom 2021.

These games have been specifically mentioned: Keighley Teas in advance of the ONL again and again individual titles to be presented. The highlight is likely to be Call of Duty Vanguard, from which it should be given gameplay for the first time.

It might give it else: Everything else is speculation. Xbox fans who missed Halo Infinite on the Microsoft Show yesterday can hope for a show of the shooter tonight.

Otherwise, we wish all of course a new trailer to Elden Ring, which was already shown by Keighley on E3 2021. And maybe the new project by Keighleys Kumbel Hideo Kojima? Dreaming is allowed.

If you are looking for more clues for your speculation, Keighley has published a list of publishers for you, which will be involved in the Opening Night. Particularly interesting are Bandai Namco, to which from software belongs, and PlayStation, because Sony has actually canceled for Gamescom 2021. Other big names are Activision, Ubisoft, Sega, Warner Bros. Games and the Xbox Game Studios.
